And another, though you may need a bit of background. COBOL was the main programming language used for many decades to run the medium to large companies of the world. Since then of course, many other languages have come to favor: C, C++, C#, Java, Perl, and on and on. With that in mind here is the joke:

An old man sat on a park bench reading "How to Learn C++". A young teenager came along and saw what the old man was reading and said, "Old man, why are you reading that book? Don't you know you will never be a programmer using it because you are way too old?" The old man replied, "Young man, I have been told C++ is the language spoken in heaven and I am studying to prepare myself for heaven." The teenager chuckled and said, "But what if you are going to hell instead?" The old man replied, "Well I will be prepared. I already know COBOL."

If you don't understand the joke well I guess one needs to be a programmer to get a good laugh out of it.
