" Part two of Future Sound Of London’s Amorphous Androgynous opus is a mixed bag of new material and remixes of cuts from 2002’s The Isness. Garry Cobain and Brian Dougans continue their psychedelic explorations on The Otherness, beginning with opener "Elysian Feels (Abbey Road Version)," which sounds like DJ Shadow on amphetamines with its runaway breakbeats and baroque organs.
On "The Lovers," they conjure the spirits of Jimi Hendrix and Ravi Shankar via psychedelic guitar and swirling sitar madness. Somewhat unfocused at times, but overall a nice trip down mary-jane lane."
